Property trip southern Costa Blanca

Three days in Spain, seen with your own eyes

You do not choose a home in Spain from behind your laptop. In three days you see the projects, the area and the people who work there, no sales pitch, with all the time you need to ask questions. You go home with a picture no brochure can give you.

Why it pays to see it yourself

Photos show you what an apartment looks like. They do not show how hot the terrace gets at four in the afternoon, how far the beach really is on foot, or what the neighbourhood sounds like on a weekday evening. Nor do they show which projects are finished and which are still a building site. Those are exactly the things that decide whether you still enjoy going there in five years. So we take you to the projects that match what you want. And show you what does not fit, which saves you an expensive mistake later.

What a trip looks like

The structure is the same every time: first understand, then look, then decide. The exact projects and times differ per trip; you receive the programme for your own trip in advance.

  1. Day 1

    Arrival and introductions

    Afternoon and evening
    • Welcome at the office

You meet the team that will guide you over the coming days. We go through the region with you and explain how buying in Spain works, including where it differs from the Netherlands.

    • Welcome dinner

Dinner together at a local restaurant. Informal, and a chance to hear what other buyers are wrestling with.

  2. Day 2

    The viewing day

    Full day
    • Show homes and completed projects

We drive out to several new-build projects. You walk through show homes and through apartments that are already lived in, so you see how it works out in reality.

    • A project under construction

A building site is on the programme too. You see the stage construction is at, the finish the developer delivers and exactly where the home will sit.

    • Lunch along the way

A break halfway through the day, with room to talk over what you have seen so far.

    • A tour of a resort

At one of the projects we walk the whole site: the amenities, the maintenance and how a complex like it works year-round.

  3. Day 3

    From interest to decision

    Morning and afternoon
    • To the notary for the power of attorney

At the notary you sign a power of attorney so that we can apply for your NIE number. That saves you a second trip: without an NIE you cannot put a property in your name in Spain, open a bank account or connect utilities. We handle the application from there.

    • Back to your shortlist

You revisit the projects that appealed to you yesterday, now with a sharper eye. A second visit often reveals what you missed the first time.

    • Discussing next steps

We line up what you have seen and what would be needed if you want to go ahead. No pressure to sign, just clarity on what the next step would be.

You book, we point the way

You arrange your own flight and hotel, so you stay free in your dates and your budget. We make sure you know exactly what is worth booking. The programme on the ground we handle entirely.

Your flight

You book your own flight. We tell you in advance which arrival and departure days fit the programme, so you miss nothing and do not stay longer than you need to.

Your hotel

You book your stay yourself too. You get suggestions for hotels in the right area: close enough to where each day starts, and across different price ranges.

Hire a car

Our advice is to hire a car. That leaves you free to drive around after the programme ends and explore the area at your own pace.

Or we meet up

Rather not drive yourself? Then we meet at a shared pick-up point and you travel with us between the projects. Just let us know when you register.
